lanEn Quand les mots chantent is a celebration of spoken word in all its power. Under the direction of Giselle Lemire, Alice Boutin-Maloney, Frédérique Cyr Michaud, Gilles Groleau, Josée Lévesque, and Marie-Véronique Bourque will perform their texts with authenticity and passion.

Jérémie Bengong will also perform texts by Ousmane Ilbo Mahamane, accompanied by the sensitive improvisation of Dave Lawlor on piano.

An evening where poetry meets music, and where every voice finds its place in a true human symphony.

lanEn "Bruissement boréal" is the story of a friendship and a creative union between two women from the Canadian jazz scene: Christine Tassan on guitar and Marie-Véronique Bourque on flute. It is also an album of jazz compositions inspired by the natural sounds of Quebec and Saskatchewan, reflecting Christine and Marie-Véronique's roots. Released on May 9, 2025, this work was recorded as a quartet with David Meunier-Roy on double bass and Olivier Bussières on drums.

At the Midi Aramusique concert, the two artists offer you an intimate version of this project.
